The story of Final Fantasy is always sad, but touches the lonely hearts. This song was sang by the Diva 'Faye Wang' who is the most of the most to Chinese gays. How I wish we had her courage, dare to be herself, dare to love, dare to live with love but without regret. As I said, I never want to push you, but even that I still can not hide my feelings to you. So I just wish, one day there will be one day, that you will see your eyes in mine.

Is it "Faye" Wang or Fay Wang? If my memory serves me right it is the former.
And, more importantly, you do not know the story (in the game) of this song, do you? It was sung by a bar singer to Ragna, the player character's father, "as a farewell" because they were not meant to get together. (Their respective son and daughter have the chance though.) Do you really want to show your love with this song? Obviously a bad omen.

I do know the story. But that is not the reason why I choose this song.
I have some memories about this song, especially as a singer, I was(am?) eager for eyes from those whom I love on the stage. Of course, if I already got their attention, I won't feel like this. When I was young, during my high school and after, in my memories, my mother just showed twice in my recital and performances. And to those boys and men I loved, most of them were not interested in these activities. Or even they did attend, but they didn't come for me.
You can't say those were good, otherwise I wouldn't feel lost. I just hope there's one day, he will notice there's someone eager for his eyes. Someday, somewhere. (I suddenly think of Babara Streisand. = =)
